THE HOTEL
Hotel Rústico Fonteverde, located in the historic centre of the spa town of Cuntis, is a traditional Galician country house built in the 1880s, refurbished as a hotel in 2008.
This quiet hotel in a warm, welcoming setting offers guests a wide range of options: exploring the cultural heritage of the area of Ulla-Umia and Deza Tabeirós; enjoying the beautiful beaches of the Rías Baixas, visiting the nearby pilgrimage centre of Santiago de Compostela, and of course, relaxing in the thermal waters of Cuntis, with their relaxing and therapeutic properties.

BEDROOMS
The hotel has eight bedrooms: six doubles and two singles, all of which are also prepared for guests with disabilities.
All of the rooms have a full bathroom, television and telephone, and either have a traditional gallery or private balcony.
COMMUNAL AREAS
The hotel also has a large lounge with a fireplace and a breakfast room on the ground floor, and a library on the first floor reached by a communal balcony.
A pretty partly covered patio leads to a quiet garden, perfect for relaxing.
At the edge of the garden is a stone and wood pergola on the banks of the River Gallo.
THE SURROUNDING AREA
The area of the Ulla and Umia valleys is located in the north west of the province of Pontevedra, in Galicia. It has a varied landscape, and its closeness to the coast results in climatic conditions that create extensive green areas used for agriculture, livestock and forestry.
The area’s thermal waters are its most attractive feature, together with natural spaces of outstanding beauty. Trekking routes, river beaches, hunting and fishing areas, scenic lookout points, recreational areas, parks and gardens all offer excellent opportunities for leisure activities while visiting this region, also famous for its traditional architecture and archaeological remains.
In summary, the municipal district of Cuntis is an exceptional natural landscape complemented by a fascinating historical and artistic heritage.
